The 12 days of Christmas

Went to my favorite car wash today to remove the salt from the ice storm. You guys in SOCAL wouldn't understand. It's the kind of wash that you sit in the truck and it pulls you through. Works real well and you get to use the vac all you want after your done. I no sooner feel the roller on the tire and the whole wash shut down. I think there are 4 cars including me stuck in it. The darn thing would not start back up. After about 20 minutes of the manager running up and down the length of the wash they had me back off of it and sure enough it fired right up, until it tried to pull my truck into it again. So I backed up again until we had just 2 cars then it worked fine. The motor is sized borderline for that operation. He had about twenty cars backed up in line. Truck was too heavy!

i went through one of those once. . air jet blower at the end just scraped along the roof rack bars on my cap. . too close for comfort and the 315 bfg's kinda floated along the track [too wide]. now i use the low water washes. . you park the truck in the drive through and the wash machine moves around you on tracks on the ceiling. does a pretty good job, and it sprays the underside as you drive into the wash

Nick that reminds me of the old robo washes when I was a kid! I like this wash because I can get it done for 7 bucks and use the vac till my arms fall off. I have 2 boys that leave a mess in the back seat so I need that part! I can't get out of the full service places for less then 20 bucks. I would rather wash it in my driveway, no can do till spring or more global warming. I never had a problem with this wash before because it was not busy and I was the only one going through.
