Yep, Clinton was handed the foundation for an incredible booming economy. From Reagan. There is no disputing that.

Clinton had to have done something right to keep it going for 8 years or so. Though I cannot stand the man, some of what he did seemed to work.

However, now, look at the pile of **** he has handed to George W. George will get blamed for a recession, but it was the last year or so of Clinton that laid the foundation for it.

Clinton had nothing to do with our so called great economy.

It was BILL GATES that provided countless thousands of jobs for people who otherwise would not be working, which re-kicked the flywheel that really got going from Reaganomics putting dough back in our hands so we could buy & feed the market. And, workers like US for actually doing the work.

The temporary overexpanded economy also came from people BUYING themselves into debt so bad, that nowadays there is a big buisness in ASSISTING PEOPLE GET OUT OF DEBT.

People need to take their tax cuts and put it towards their creditcards, and quit expecting the government to pay for their big screen tv's.

Defense is one of the few things that need money. And the people who deserve it don't get crap.
You know as well as I do that 90% of the "do good" projects end up in administrative fees, and into the wrong hands anyway.
I'm sick of these jerks throwing my money all over the world, and tellin me I have to be frugal!
The democrats in Congress the last 40 years have blown money every chance they got. Finally, we have a chance of doing something, and the Republicans are balking.
Ram it down their throats, we want our money back, and controlled spending, not automatic raises all the time for every program no matter what.

For one thing is his budget plan when he first came to office. He projected that we would cut the dept by a certain amount by this time and we have. Now the Republicans want to give it away. I don't mind tax cuts,but really guys,how is an extra 50. 00 a year going to boost the economy?It won't even buy a tank of fuel!If he wants to cut taxes he should start at the pump!

I wish we could get rid of the present medical insurance fiasco this countrys in. I am one worker thats fed up. The HMOs cut whatever area they want and leave us at the mercy of a 80/20 medical plan,which is over priced. I went to the hospital for a couple tests the other day and waited over 3 hours!While every welfare mom in the country got shuttled in before me,No waiting. It sure does make you think. Maybe theres where the money should go,socialized medicine. Scare the hell out of the insurance companys.


Oh Clinton made it illeagal for insurance companys to dump people off because of health issues. He didn't go far enough.

GW is already getting the blame. One reason I heard is because he is not the legitimate president and poeple are upset.

Of course, classic liberal thinking does not take into consideration that the economy was starting to turn last summer. Let's not confuse the issue with facts.
