Oil Additives?

Does anyone use any oil additives in their 1st Gen. truck I was think of putting half a bottle of Lucas oil treatment because of the 90+ degree heat here daily in the Inland Empire (60-miles east of Los Angeles CA), with 304K on the clock. Thanks for any input regarding this Snake Oil question...Hmmm could be a dumb one, I know. So have at-it folks :-laf

90+ is air conditioned. I have never used any additives here in the Phoenix area 110+ and do not plan on using any.

I use the Lucas in my truck, seems to cut down on oil out the crank vent and little.

Good clean, heavily filtered DINO OIL is the best thing IMO

NOW!!! let the AMSOIL or is it SCAM'S OIL, boys start the war

I use the Lucas stuff in all my stuff, both Dodges, the race car, the street car, Toyota and whatever else I have around that may be driven on a regular basis. Also use the fuel conditioner in all the above as well.

I used Lucas in my big rig stuff and on ocasion ive used it in my 5.9s with no issues just follow the directions and you will be good to go
