not complaining, just informing.

coupla months ago i bought 3 oil analysis kits from genos. i sent one in 3 weeks ago and nada. i called em yesterday and they never recieved it. upshot of it is that they moved a long time ago and the labels provided have the old address on em. she said was so long ago that the post office forwarding order has expired even. she promided to investigate and call me back ASAP. still no call yet. the old labels read like this:

MONITOR

PMB 242

3100 MERIDIAN DRIVE

GREENWOOD, IN 46142

nwcatman

Do you have an correct address as the Fleetguard kits I got from GENO's have the old address also?

Oil Analysis Update

Well, I just got off of the telephone with Fleetguard and with Polaris Labs, and I've got the scoop:

1. Polaris Labs (who does the oil analysis) has moved to:

Monitor

7898 Zionsville Road

Indianapolis, IN 46268

2. Fleetguard keeps their inventory current, so they believed all of their CC2525 Oil Sampling Kits would have the new address. But, apparently some of the old kits were still in the Fleetguard inventory.

3. When Fleetguard last shipped to Geno's Garage, kits with the old address were accidentally shipped. Fleetguard has offered to replace the kits, but Polaris/Monitor has suggested that Geno's just have customers "write in" the correct mailing address. This change will have no impact on the analysis whatsoever.

4. Geno's is replacing the "mailing labels" in the existing kits they have in stock. This should fix the immediate problem. Geno's will be shipping nwcatman a replacement CC2525 at no charge to replace the lost one.

5. If anyone else has purchased a CC2525 from Geno's, you will want to verify you are mailing your sample to the correct address for Monitor. If you've had a kit "lost in the mail," call the folks at Geno's Garage (800-755-1715), and they'll be glad to replace that unit.

I trust this clears up any remaining question/problem. But if not, just call Geno's at (800-755-1715).

Hope this helps!

Wow, that sounds like very good service from both Genos and Polaris labs/Monitor. A company is only as good as the service they give when things go wrong.

Everybody makes mistakes... . It's all in how you handle them that makes the difference.
