Oil Analysis

New to this diesel stuff. This will be my frist analysis I ever done, Have a few question's.

My truck has 3800 miles I changed the oil & filter at 1500 miles, will change oil at 4500 or 5000 miles, most of my driving is to work no load. Is blackstone lab Ok? How often do you check oil with a analysis.

Joe, I've been using Blackstone since I got the truck, overall, I'm happy with them. I still send them a sample at every oil change, just watching the wear metal count go down. If you click on the 'My Truck' link below, there's a few of the Blackstone Lab analysis sheets that I scanned in. It will give you an idea of what they provide.
