Where are you guys getting these oil analysis' done?

They are many places, I used http://www.blackstone-labs.com/index.html 15$ if you tell them your a TDR member. Email them or call for a free sample kit.

My local Cummins dealer offers analysis for $9 and even has a 24 hour drop off box for the sample. Not sure if they all do.

Geno's also sells kits. Mail the sample to the lab & they email the results. Also- I take oil samples to the local Cat dealer & they have an in house lab.

I was using Oil Analyzers (Amsoil affiliate), but just got my 12/21 sample results today (1/14). That, plus the cost has gone up to ~$18. When I use up my prepaid kits, I'm switching to CTC, who is highly recommended by others and reasonably priced.

CTC is a great company!

I though CTC and Amsoil split. Used to be able to get CTC kits from Amsoil. Not for several years now. I started with CTC and still use them. They just added all their data (your data) online with query tools and all. Real cool company with labs all over the US.

blackstone and $15

Blackstone raised my price to $17. 00 even though I'm a TDR member. They did this over a year ago, and I send in samples several times PER Month.



Is anyone still getting $15. 00 price???

Now I'm totally confused.



One poster says CTC is ~$10; another says ~$18. Guess I'll have to call CTC and see if their prices really have risen that much; if so, I'll check some of the other suggested providers.

E-mail Blackstone Labs they will send you the kit for free then its 18. 50 for the test and if you want a TBN its 10. 00 more... ... .
