Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Help! I have a 1998 12 valve 3500 quad cab sport model that
the fuel and oil gauges have been giving me fits in.
For some reason the fuel gauge will drop to empty setting off
the chimes and idiot light <check gauges> at any time and at any fuel level below actual full. The oil gauge will do the same thing
although hardly ever at the same time, and I know it's full of oil, and there is no noise or any other reason to believe I have lost all
oil pressure! This seems to happen more at stops or at idle.
this has been going on for some time and is driving me nuts!
could it be that both sending units are bad or is there a connection somewhere that these two gauges have in common
that is loose? Any Ideas?
