It's cold here I thought i would go to the dealer and have him change my oil and gas filter. Well, that is the last time i will do that the cost was $152. 00. I told the dealer that he needs to point a gun at me, It would make this easier to pay. I told him when i left that at that cost you all should have a good xmas. I thought you all should get a chuckle at of this.

More than one has found out the hard way, some just get ripped once on fuel or oil filters. #ad

Purchase my Baldwin filters by the case. At the price you just paid I'd have enough filters (fuel & Oil)to almost last the life of my truck. Not to rub it in. We all learn about the dealership one way or another. Hang in there for this too will pass.

Dane, I see you live in Santa Cruz... My favorite place!!!
My daughter and son-in-law also live down there in Capitola and visit us up here in Sacramento often. I can get you Baldwin Oil filters and Fleetguard fuel filters cheap and have them delivered to your door if you want. Just let me know.

What year is your truck?? I am reading my current "Cummins Power Booster Quarterly" and it states the Baldwin PF7854 does not meet the specifications on 2000 and 2001 applications! Says it can short out the Water In Fuel sensor! The Baldwin is 2. 5mm longer and 1mm larger in diameter. Also the metal endplates are causing a problem.

Just thought I would point it out. I don't know what year your truck is or what filter number your using.

This information is in the Fall Edition of the Cummins Power Boosters Club Quarterly.
