Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) oil at breathers? or valve cover gasket?

hey guys,



Got quite a bit of oil leaking from what looks like the valve cover. Is it all one piece or individuals for the breathers? I didn't know if there was a kit to order to replace it or if I can get it at a local auto parts store. It's a completly stock 94 2 wheel drive auto. Thanks!

if its your valve cover gasket thats leaking, there are 6 individual ones, at a cost of about $5 a pop, you can do em all for pretty cheap. Just the 1 bolt on the top holding them down lift up and r+r gasket. Make sure there isnt too much junk around the cover before you remove them or could get into your valvetrain.

I sourced some from my local parts house, or if you have a Cummins dealer nearby they will most defenetly be able to help you out.

I saw that Geno's has them now also, but of course I cannot find my catalog or recall the price on them.

One other thing is the Felpro kit comes with the o-ring for the hold down stud, the cummins dealers sell them seperately. The o-ring seals in the oil from seeping out under the hold down bolt. Defenetly get replacements as most of the time there all torn up when you take the bolt out.

found my catalog, genos gaskets are 4. 75 and the o-rings are 1. 29. I need to do the same to my truck, let us know the Fel-pro price.

hey guys Napa is having a 25% off everything you can cram in the bag sale so it's the only place I checked for the gaskets. They want 5. 50 a gasket with the o-rings. Since I need ball joints filters and fluids, I take advantage of the sale I guessOo.
