Does anyone know where I can get a new oil breather catch bottle? Or does someone have one for sale? Any ideas will help

Thanks

Take a 9" piece of 3" pvc and cap both ends. Pick up two 3/4" threaded X male nipple fittings, one 3/4 X 3/4 slip fitting, 12" of flexible rubber/plastic hose and one 1/4" threaded drain. Drill out top of pipe close to both ends and tap to fit 3/4" nipples. I mounted mine on the backside of the radiator cross member right below the fan shroud. I used two very large plastic tie wraps but you could use plumbers strap also. Plug the 3/4" slip fitting into the bottom of the breather hose and cut rubber/plastic hose to fit between one of the nipples and the slip fitting hanging down from the breather hose. Drill a hole in the bottom of the pipe and thread in drain valve. Done. I got all the parts from Home Depot for $13. :D

That's a good thing to loose just extend it down lower than the rad and let it drain on the ground

I'll second mad bomber's way. I ran around for about 8 months with the bottle missing. (last time I emptied the bottle, I must not have tightened all the way and it rubbed the crank) It made a heck of a mess under the hood becasue the fan circulated the oil vapor. I extended the hose to the bottom of the air dam, cleaned of the fan, crank, oil pan, transmission and as of to date, all is still clean. Only side affect is a few drips on on the pavement where I park my truck.
