I'm installing an oil bypass on my 05 dodge. I'm ready to drill the oil cap to install the swivel return. The cap from top to bottom measures 1 5/16 inches but the stem on the swivel is only 1 1/4 inches long. It obviously won't extend through the cap so that I can put the oring and nut on. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Jeff

Oil Bypass return?

I understand Oilguard makes a billet oil cap with the swivel in it. Does anyone know of a dealer I can contact?

I sent you an e-mail with pictures. You have to get a different cap also, as the OEM one is in two parts, and if drilled will not tighten/loosen properly. Go to NAPA Auto Parts and get NAPA # 703-1458.
