Oil Capacity for Dana 80 w/Mag Hytec

Just got my Mag-Hytec cover today. Could someone please tell me how many quarts of oil its gonna take to fill it up. The instructions say 8, but I could have sworn I read less than that somewhere on this board.

FYI, we installed the Mag-Hytec on 2 trucks last week. A 2500 4x4 Dana 80 help 7 qts. The 3500 Dana 80 held 7. 5
