In issue 37 on page 50 it said that the oil change intervals would be at 15,000 versus 7500. My owners manual is the same as my 01, 7500 or 3750. Is there a revision or more info somewhere.

My 2002 owners manual states that if during a change cycle if the temperature gets below 32 degrees you need to change every 3750 miles? That was not in my 2000 owners manual?

Those intervals are for the '03 trucks. !5000 on the "A" schedule and 7500 on the "B". There is no one who could qualify for the "A" schedule. These figures don't apply to California vehicles (naturally), there the old 3750 or 7500 mile change applies to the '03 trucks as well.

If you look carefully there is a difference between the CA trucks and the rest in the B schedule for 2003. I think the ones with a diamond are CA trucks. I don't have my owners manual with me so I am just guessing at the what sort of asterisk denotes CA.

If you go o your Maintenance Logbook 2003 Diesel Truck Schedule B, you will see the 3,750 Miles has "Change engine oil and engine oil filter. ", this is followed by a cross. If you look at the bottom of the page you will see a diamond for Tier 1(rest of the country) and a cross for the California models. the diamond will show up on the next page 7,500 miles where both cross and diamond are shown for "Change engine oil and engine oil filter". It would have been a whole lot simpler if they just printed a separate book for California.
