Oil Change Message

I have a 2008 Quad cab 2500 with about 47000 miles. The oil change message comes on and I reset it after awhile it comes back again about 100 miles or less but not the same amount. It has done this for two of the oil changes so far. Has this happened to anyone else?I surely hate to do the dealer,not fun wastes time and cost to much!

My first question would have to be do you have the latest software update for the ecm?

I reset by turning the key to the on position and press the fuel pedel 3 times within 10 seconds. I have all the latest and greatest updates. I have not had this problem until resently

Is the warning on before resetting or you trying to reset when you change before the warning comes on
