Oil Cool Collar?

While looking at the Frantz bypass filter site I ran across this link:

Had one on a jeep. Didn't notice anything different... but the theory is sound so why not... at the very least it's cheap.

Our Cummins turbodiesels already have an oil cooler which works well and should suffice for all but the most radical BOMBers.

The theory is that the heat must be transfered through the filter material and paint and then through the filter cover to be dissapated.



I could see where it would work on a Harley but like mentioned above, these trucks have a cooler. It is pretty and would protect against rocks though.
