Looking for oil cooler lines for 2002 2500, the stealership wants almost 300 and that not to put them on. Wife is having an issue at Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Any suggestions. I'm 1000 miles away.

I assume you're talking about the automatic transmission cooler lines. Take it to a local transmission shop. I would think you could get the new lines and have them put on for about what you were quoted just for the lines. You could also look for a national chain like Aamco or Goodyear just so that if you have trouble, there's one nearby to stand behind it.

I ordered some from Auto Zone. They only had half the lines in stock. I went to the dealership for the other. I intantly noticed a difference in quality. I purchased all the lines from the dealership and returned the Auto Zone parts. Also, I would spent the time protecting the lines where they rub. I found five or six places. I use rubber heater hose (sliced down the middle), silicone gasket sealer, and draw ties. I use gasket sealer to prevent any rubbing in the hard line. Lines should last almost forever.
