oil dilution

My first post. I'll see if I can get it right. I have a 12 ram t.d. that the oil gets diluted with fuel. after 2300 miles the dilution is up to about 6 percent. i have had it to the dealer several times in the last 2 years. they say they can't do anything as nothing checks bad. truck has 40000 miles. i'm sure it is leaking under valve cover but I don't know who to contact for warranty. as I say dealer and FCA has been no help . id be looking for a new dealer. take your oil samples to them and show them.

Tried 2 dealers both said they can't pull valve cover without authorization from FCA

It seems to me that rapid fuel dilution was a big problem with pre-DEF trucks. There were many posts about trucks "making oil", and short OCI.

I went through this same issue with the 2012 that I had. At 1800-2000 miles after an oil change the computer would be screaming that it was due for an oil change. Pull the plug and drain out 18-20 qts of fuel laden oil. Each and every oil change.... After a few (5 or 8 ) trips to the dealer. New injectors, re- flashes after re- flash and the dealer telling me I was not using the truck as designed..... Wait towing a trailer and driving roughly 650-750 miles a week mostly at speeds over 45 the truck was not being used as designed. Even the run out to Cummins factory for the TDR factory days in 2013 was not using the truck as designed.... I brought the truck in for inspection with only 700 miles on the oil change the Dealer TEC says the oil level is very over filled... I blew up and traded it in on a 2013 and havent looked back. With the exception of a few stupid software up dates the truck has been flaw less. The oil changes last well over 10,000 miles with out any fuel showing up. My advice DUMP THE 2012.

I had ZERO issues with my 11 HO Dually with fuel in oil. Never had the level increase, Blackstone said less than .05% fuel dilution.

2012 3500 Laramie. I get less than 3000 miles before change oil light comes on. Rotella T6 and Mopar filters at every change. Less than 1500 miles before o2 sensors go bad. Truck loves to work but next day cel comes on 1/2 mile from starting. Thinking hard about delete as truck is in shop yet again today.

I deleted mine and never looked back. 2012 ram 2500 oil even stays clean.
