Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) oil drain plug

Does anyone know if the oil drain plug for a 2002 is the same as a 1999. The reason I ask is because with the '99 you could loosen the plug a turn or two and drain the oil reasonably slowly and then take it all the way out, but with the 2002 you have to pull the plug all the way out to drain the oil and when it comes out --it really comes out. I'm tired of cleaning the floor in my garage!!!

I just orderd the drain plug from http://genosgarage.com with the easy lever switch. Its going to make life easy!

I believe there is a difference. Check Geno's. I just bought a drainplug for my '01 and I had to be careful I purchased the right one...
