Oil drips - '04.5 CTD

I've got 4500 miles on my new '04. 5, and see 2-3 drops of oil on the garage floor every morning. Crawled underneath, and everything looks dry except the breather hose. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to stop the drips - I'm anal about my garage / driveway cleanliness.



I know when I worked at CMEP in '99-2000, we installed breather bottles. Has anyone installed one on a newer truck?

Mine does it too. I have 6100 miles on 2004. 5 CTD and it seems to be less now that the engine is getting broken in. There are posts about running a hose back under the truck, but I don't think it is a big deal. Your call. Terry
