Archived Oil filled the rad..head gasket?

got to work this morning and oil filled the over flow bottle i am thinking head gasket?

Could be the oil cooler too. Do a search, lots of info about it.

Flip a coin - my '99 did the same thing. Started chasing the problem at the oil cooler, ended up pulling the head and finding a failed headgasket between oil & water passage. Stock headbolts, but with DDUFM box & Stage III injectors. Bad luck???

Oil cooler is easier to pull than a head gasket R&R. It should hold 60 psi with no leaks.



I've seen oil leaks into the coolant side too (Tstinson's suggestion), too much boost can cause this, but also a poorly maintained coolant system where corrosion runs rampant can wreck havok.



If the head or block were not in close tolerance to begin with, it may have been waiting to happen.
