I havent seen this hit before , so. I was thinking about the possibilities of installing a remote oil filter. Which of course would take care of all the access problems. So, is there such a thing? Or is it because a diesel is to much psi for it all to hold. Maybe theres no such parts to even make up one. Any thoughts out there. Are big cummins trucks the same as our Dodges? Do they have remotes?

Remote oil filters are a possiblity for the Dodge trucks. I can only speak of the one I use currently. If you do a search on Amsoil I am sure you will find out quite a bit of info on their system. They have a dual remote setup that I am quite pleased with and there are surely others out there. The Amsoil dual remote system mounts wherever you can find a spot. You may very well have to fabricate a mount for it though depending on the location you choose. There are several members that make an actual mount for it that is attached by the passenger side batttery. For the mount, search on Ted Kidd, or CPFF. I know there are a couple others as well. CPFF also makes a trick billet adapter for the unit which is top quality and he also makes SS Braided lines for his setup. Many members use the amsoil setup in their rigs.
