Read post on oil filters collasping. Has anyone had any problems with a WIX filter on 24V. Also does anyone know if 75-90 Mobile synthetic gear oil Grade GL-5 is OK to use in NV 4500 5 speed? Thanks for any help here.

For your lube question go to the products forum and read "Amsoil diff lubrication questions". It talks about GL-4/GL-5 lube differences and the gearbox controversy. This topic regarding what lube to run in the gearbox has been discussed many times in the past, do a search in the archives.

I used a Wix filter on my last change. Have not had any problems and have used Wix on gas engines for years. I am going back to Fleetguard, Geno's Garage has a good deal on them and I will not buy another from Dodge. They are just a Fleetguard with a MOPAR sticker at about twice the price.
