Oil Filters, which is best?

Which oil filters do you like, and where can you get them?



I have been trying to find the Fleetgaurd staophere and have not found them yet.



I have found WIX, are they any good and OK for our Cummins?

IMO, the best filter is the Fleetguard Stratapore LF 3894. I get mine from FVMCO, a big rig shop 11 miles west of Salem. I pay $7. 27 ea. or if you buy a case of 12 it's $6. 91. I buy a case and split with another TDR member.



Fuel filter is Fleetguard FS 19579. I pay $10. 23 ea.

Stratapore is the one brobeson! Geno's is my place to shop for it.

IMHO, stay away from WIX, good for your tractor, but VERY BAD for your warranty if the engine goes..... stick with the manufacturers filter. Oo.
