FLEETGUARD - STRATAPORE

LF16035 and LF3894

Are they the same except for the fluted can shape on the LF16035?

.

Some dude on some cummins forum was posting several repeated times that the LF16035 was a way different filter inside, a special designed venturi super-duper filter that is needed for 2003 and newer. He said you cant not run a LF3894 on 2003 - newer.

Sounds like the dude is full of Bull

No-one has heard of this super venturi design LF16035

My search comes up with nothing also.

I figure the experts here on TDR would know for sure

He just had the wrong number, it's the LF9028 extended life filter that has the venturi filter in it.
I used that filter my self for a couple years but later considered it as to expensive because I don't extend the oil change interval what that filter is designed for.
And no there isn't a need for a super duper filter at that industrial engine, it isn'ta Ferrari.
It is happy with a filter of any brand reputable. Regular oil changes are way more important then anything else.
