Ok guys help me out,

My truck will be due for another oil change soon and I am out of filters. I am considering buying the Fleetguard Stratapore LS 3894 filter for my truck this time instead of the Mopar oil filter. Any warranty concerns ? Is this truly a better filter, or just a gimmick

Thanks:D

Geno's garage sells the Stratapore filters, oil and fuel. If you still use the stock air filter and fuel filter, they have a 4-in-1 kit that includes 1 air filter, 2 fuel filters & 4 oil filters - all Fleetguard. I forget the price, but it's a good deal, even for buying filters individually.

The Stratapore is a higher quality filter than the Mopar filter, and since Cummins owns Fleetguard... you can't go wrong ;)

Since Ford owns Cummins and Cummins owns Fleetguard, that means that Ford owns Fleetguard.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;) I'll go back to my corner and be quiet now. :( )

I purchase my Fleetguard Stratapore filters from our local Case farm and industrial equipment dealer. Our 5. 9L Cummins is used in some of their equipment.

The price is less than Geno’s and even the local Intermountain Cummins shop.
