I was changing my oil today, and I took off the air inlet hose on the turbo to get to the oil filter, I noticed oil in the bottom on the turbo housing, under the impeller, is this normal... . when i took off the silenceing ring... I mean checkin to see if it was there a month or so back i did not notice this oil. Since then I have also installed a edz1000? Thanks

I have the same thing too. Changing filters about a month ago and pulled the intake hose and noticed small amount of oil near the impeller too, never noticed it before. I run a stock air filter and have for the past 10K, prior to that was a Scotty II, but have changed oil filters twice in that time and have noticed oil in past. Anyone?

Do you run an oiled type filter? (Has to be oiled before the install)

If you do, that might be oil being sucked from the air filter and deposited on the compressor housing.

Have you checked your filter minder?

If you air filter is severely plugged with will cause oil to leak past the bushing.
