I had the recall done on the vacuum pump sometime ago due to I guess a faulty check valve. Can't find the old recall notice but wasn't the warranty extended for life for all vacuum components on the system due to oil getting into the system. I have speed control servo problems now. Normal vacuum of 25-28 now reduced to @15 due to a bad vacuum servo. Anybody got a copy of the warranyt extension they gave us with the recall??

st louis assembly,

Have you taken the vacuum line off speed control servo to see if oil is in it.

I believe the vacuum line can rub against the battery tray(or some object in that area) producing a hole.

I think that if the diaphragm got a hole in it vacuum would be low.

I would think that oil in that particular vacuum line would have to been there already when check valve was put on, unless the check valve has gone bad.

Could low vacuum be caused by damage to another vacuum line ?

Solenoid valve on servo bad ?
