I myself, and many other people have purchased a $40,000 pickup. Love the truck but there is no reason for it to leak oil on the ground every time I park it. The oil is coming out of the draft tube. Doe's any one else have this problem????

That is just normal. If you got more than a drop or two you might have another problem. What year model,12 or 24V,what kind of oil/weight are you using.

Many first time diesel owners complain of this. It's normal but some trucks are worse than others.

On most gassers the blowby (draft) is routed back into the air intake to burn. On a turbo charged diesel it isn't possible to overcome the boost pressure so the blowby would have to be routed to the intake side of the turbo creating a oily mess of your intake system.

Best solution I've heard of is to weld a fitting onto your exhaust system and connect the blowby tube to it, oily fumes burn up. It will need an check valve (one way) to prevent the times exhaust pressure is higher than crankcase. A PCV valve works.

A drip pan may be easier.

The oil leaker is a 98 24 valve. oil used is kendel 20/50 it just turned 92,000 never use to drip, well maybe now, and then after a good run.
