Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Oil leak / KDP questions please help

Hi guys,

Its time to replace the gasket on the front of my 1995 motor and check my KDP all at the same time. My gasket is leaking terribly. I have 267,000 miles on it. Can someone please point me in the right direction to get a complete parts list and instructions for this job. I would like to replace all the front seals and gaskets while I am there. Go to the top of this section, 12 valve engine, under FAQ go down the the KDP questions and answers. Your question will be answered. To do it properly and fix those bolts that are under the cover.

If you mean the gasket between the gear case and the block, you will have to pull the camshaft. big job

Well I know you will all love to hear this story. It was cracked and I cleaned it and put JB WELD on it. Just as a temporary fix untill my shop is finished and I can spend some money and time on it. NO I did not find the KDP I am assuming it is in the pan. NO I did'nt remember the bolts that also come out so I will cross my fingers and get that taken care of when I pull the cam and do the job correctly. Thanks for the help
