Hi on my 98 it has a oil leak, it looks like it's coming from where the powerstring

pump hooks up to the block. it's not the powerstring pump though anyone else had this problem; whats the fix if you know?

Thanks for your help

There is a seal inside the vacume pump that goes bad. I don't have the PN but it is a standard industrial seal number that sells for maybe $5. Hardest part about changing the seal is getting the pump out.

Cummins vacuum pump seal kit number:4089742 for about $8. 50. Kit included vacuum pump to gear case gasket, rear vacuum pump seal and two o-rings. This should fix any leak in the area if it's engine oil.
