My neighbors 2001 sprung a leak, below the injection pump, i don't know what its called but it bolts onto the powersteering reservoir, is leaking really bad. Also up front by the fan on driver's side is some sort of overflow blow by tube that goes down into a small rubber reservoir with holes in it has been leaking aswell, it doesn't appear to be on very well. Any ideas on how to fix all of this?

an air pump is coupled to the p/s pump and the seal will go bad in the coupler u can get the parts thru your dodge dealer or contact Gould Gear & Electric (business referral page in your TDR)- I used Goulds kit and it worked great and i think its a little cheaper than the dealer. the reservoir is for blow by,to collect the oil dodge says its a maintainance item and you are supposed to drain it at oil changes. its just a bottle that is attached with a zip tie and a bolt. i got tired of the mess it made of my radiator (would leak oil and the fan would blow oil all over the shoud and rad) so i extended the hose down toward the bottom of my bumper

thanks for the info Ghed, when i was looking at the reservoir for blow by i thought to myself... this doesn't belong here but i'm used to looking in the hood of my 95. I'll look into Gould Gear & Electric should be able to fix her up in no time.

vacuum pump seal

I had to change the seal about 3 months ago. Not a bad job it was about 2 hrs. Got it at geno's garage.
