Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Oil Leak

I took my nephew to a bithday party the other day, On the way home I asked him whos truck was faster mine or his dads, He thought his dads was. So I stopped be an empty parking lot on the way to his house, we did a couple of Donuts and raced down the lane once, just to show him the power. When we got to his house I noticed a small puddle of oil in front of the truck. I traced it back to the Crank case vent. Is it normal to leak oil from there? I dont get that much leakage unless I have been really getting on it.
