I have a 92 Regular Cab Cummins. I have a pretty good oil leak right where the power steering pump and vacuum pump are. It could be where the pump goes into the front gear case or where the two pumps meet up. Does anyone know where I could see a parts break down of this or where to get gaskets/seals? Is this a common leak spot? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Both are likely culprits,as is the seal for where the injector pump bolts to the gear housing. Seal kit for the vacuum pump is $8 from Cummins, and includes the seal between the p/s pump and vac pump. Also includes the seal bewteen vacuum and gear housing. Someone has to have the part number. It fits 91. 5-02 models.

Gasket between the gear case and hyd. pump is P/N 3938655. There is a Cummins Part Catalog available, at least there was for my 1989 model. Schematic breakdown with P/N's

This is great info. I stumbled across this site looking for gaskets and then got so interested in reading about other stuff I forgot my original reason for joining! (I had already replaced the voltage regulator and the headlights - joining TDR saved me the price of an alternator - I was going there next).

Anyway I bought a new vacuum pump (mine has two, the lower one is bad) but I can't locate a power steeering pump gasket to replace when I pull the ps pump to get to the vacuum pump bolts. How do I contact/order from Cummins?
