New to the site, and fairly new to CTD's. I've developed an oil leak somewhere between my injectors and my power steering pump. I washed everything down, just cant find it. It's behind the crank case and I'm having an issue figuring out where its from. I lost over a quart of oil in around 300 miles, so its got me a little worried. Don't know if its related or not, but when the engine is cold, it blows white smoke and has a popping noise. After it warms up that issue stops.

You say behind the crankcase. Do you mean the gear housing on front of the engine?

First thing I would check is the KDP may have come out and cracked the housing.

Second is maybe you are having the common leak at the vacuum pump seal to power steering pump coupling.

Vacuum pump reseal is no big deal. Cracked gear housing is another story.

This may or may not be the problem but it is something to check: There is a high pressure silver braided oil line that runs from the vacuum pump to the block. It is difficult to see but this hose can start leaking. It's not fun to replace, very tight space. There are also some bushings that should be replaced at the same time, you don't want to take this apart again so spend the $$ for the bushings when you get the hose. I think that hose was almost $100.

Your engine problems not related to the oil leak. The engine problem is injection pump or injectors but mite be as simple as your over flow valve.
