I have an oil leak coming from what appears to be the timing cover/ front main seal. Does anyone know if this is a common problem????

AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRGGGGGGGG, as Charlie Brown from The Peanuts used to say!!!!!!!! I have a really BAD feeling about this... Without going outside in the 25* weather and poppin' the hood, I'm gonna say I'm 99 & 44/100th's% sure this is exactly what my 95's problem is. @#&*%@!*#%$&@! Well, I'm going to bed , not that I'll be able to sleep... ..... Thanks Guys! for the info and pics... . Any more info would be greatly appriciated.

Well, front seals do go bad, though. I changed one not too long ago on a 95, coincidentally. It was a bear to do, as the guy had the el cheapo snowplow pto off a front pulley, but once the hokey junk was out of the way, it was too easy. Think positively... . don't overrate the problem until you see it. Dowel pin failure is very rare. Front seals are much more commonplace.
