I do have strange problem. O the last trip I find oil on the bottom of the truck. I find out oil was leaking from the hose which is connect to the 4wd actuator. Hose is about 3 feet long routed from actuator and end up under the air filter holding on the wheel well by the clip. To be sure I clean the hose end and the frame, drive couple miles and check hose again. Oil was leaking from the end lot down on to the frame. By the smell you can say is the gear oil. Did anybody had this problem and have

any idea why is so much pressure in it to push oil up to the 3 feet high. I can say only this:confused:

Thanks

Won't call it normal but it happens to most everyone at least once. Not really sure what causes it, maybe a side tilt lets oil in the tube and thermal expansion pushes it out? Just clean up the mess and don't worry about it, it likely won't happen again soon if at all. In 180k miles my truck has done it twice.
