First off, I have to say the search feature is pitiful. I looked all over the "Amsoil Leakies" thread but couldn't find it. I just wanted to add that after reading that, I got to thinking about the minor sepage around my oil pan gasket. I was planning on waiting until it got bad enough to justify my time to fix it. However, after reading about the oil pan gaskets getting warranted, I printed the TSB and went to a local Dodge dealer. The dealer agreed to goodwill 50% of the replacement cost, even though I have 113,000 miles on my truck. So, for anyone that is in south central Texas, and needs service work, I'd have to recommend talking to Jim MacAfee (sp), at Boerne Chrysler, 830-981-8000. Of course the work isn't completed yet, and my opinion might change, but I doubt it. He was very willing to help me out as much as he could.

The search feature is great ..... when it is working. I just tried it and got "no hits", and I know I set it up correctly. Might be time to ask a Moderator to investigate...

Just spoke to Jim again, and for those of you having problems with the dealer not willing to put your synthetic back in - my sympthies. I told Jim I would leave my Amsoil & filter in the truck, he said "no problem". Looking forward to a good experience on this!
