Oil leaks = Turbo bad

Could Speedometer problems be linked to the ECM??

I have alot of shaft play on my turbo(bad bearings) However I also have bad oil leaks (pushrod cover,oil pan) Could they be related. I was thinking that I might be pressurizing the crankcase.
 
I doubt it. Check your crankcase breather (vent hose) that is wedged between the block and starter motor. It hangs down a bit below the starter motor. It should have a little crank case exhaust very light white haze, if you will) passing out with some oil droplets.



The hose will become pinched off behind that starter.



If you like, you can check it by connecting a water meter and compare the reading to factory specs.
