My 6. 7 has been leaking oil from time to time. Finally found that it only leaks when I use the exhaust brake. I'm thinking it's backing pressure to the turbo causing the turbo to blow out oil down the blew by tube coming out between the engine and the transmission. What could I do to fix this if this is the problem?

How many miles on it? Has the crankcase filter ever been changed? There is also a one way check valve in the crankcase CCV system that allows oil to drain back to the crankcase. If that is stuck or installed backwards it is a problem, but it will usually set a CEL for excess crankcase pressure.

The oil is coming out in between the motor and transmission. There is a noise filter (dealer is calling it that)attached to the oil pan. Can't see exactly where it's coming from. Im guessing from the turbo. It only leaks when I use the exaust brake.
