Hi. I had my 2015 ecodiesel truck's oil changed to T6 at 6660 miles. I went on vacation and rechecked the oil level after sitting and it was just on the tip of the dipstick! That's below minimum where the part numbers are.
I left it overnight and it never changed! I went to the store, got some T6 and I added about 3/4 of a quart. Now after sitting, it's up past the max onto the coil spring dipstick a ways.
I've driven it everywhere that way and wonder if I should drain some out? I plan on changing at 10K which is 300 miles from now.
Anybody else hate the oil measurement set up on these or tell us how much oil I should of added?
Thanks, Herb

From what I'm told, the dealers are filling them slightly over max as a norm.
I'd leave it where it is as long as it's not foaming.

On my 2016 EcoDiesel after a dealer oil change dip stick shows right at minimum. Stayed at minimum for over 7000 miles.
After next oil change by dealer same thing; stick shows minimum. I have parked it in various positions and slight changes in tilt do not appear to change the dip stick level.

Ive seen they use 10 quarts and I've seen they use 10.5 quarts. I wonder if the dealers are doing 10 and not 10.5? My owners manual says 10.5 but the invoice said ten! Another oh crap. I'm used to able to measure oil properly.

I also believe that the oil level is supposed to be checked at 100 degrees. Perhaps the temperature has an effect on the level.
