I have a 2008 6.7 and I've done all the deletes. When I change my oil I always put 12qts in and it brings the oil level over the full mark even after the motor has sat overnight and cooled and I'm used to it. I now have 4K miles on this oil change and I checked the level and it's now where it's supposed to be on the full mark. My question is does anyone else notice that theirs reads high then over time settles to where it should be on the dipstick? I know it's odd to worry about the dipstick reading full but it's usually always over and I don't know if I have a consumption issue or what. I have no visual leaks and have checked the turbo for play and it's good. Also no odd smoke. Thanks for any help

When you do an oil change make sure the truck is warm. Also when you do an oil change you will not get all the oil out so if you refill with 12 qts you will be a hair over. I wouldn't worry if its alittle over or alittle under. Unless it continues to drop.
