my oil light came on after 970 miles to change oil has any one have this light come on this early Matt 2007. 5 laramie qc dually tfp ss handles leer cap go rhino ss hitch step factory steps

My neighbor just stopped over and said he was at the dealer today and there was another guy behind him with the same light on at 970 miles or so. He was told to turn the ignition on, but not to start the truck. Then push the break peddle hard three times.

Reset Oil Change Light

The change oil light is based on an algorithm for time, temp, idle time, load etc. If you have been idling it a bunch it may just be right. The new 6. 7 does not like to be idled.
