Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) oil Pan gasket

Good day all. I was just wondering, I have to change the oil pan gasket and I was wondering if I can use silicon gasket or do I have to use the paper gasket form the dealer?

The high temp silicon will work fine, just make sure you give it plenty of time to "setup" before adding oil. Good idea to let it sit over night buckled back up then add your oil the next morning. Always had good results this way
