Does any one know if the oil pan can be removed while the engine is in the truck? My gasket leaks a little and i want to paint the pan.

It's really not too bad. The bolts for the engine mounts need to be removed, as well as the transmission x-member bolts. The CAC tubes need to be disconnected at the engine. An engine lift can be used to raise it a few inches. Once all of the pan bolts are removed, the oil pickup will need to be removed. After that, the pan will slide out with little clearance. A floor jack and some blocking material can also help. There are a few other little things, but that will give you an idea in what is involved.

To get the most clearance we raised up the frame so that the diff is hanging, then you can hook up the cherry picker the pull the engine up to get the rest of the clearance you'll need :)
