'94 difficulty getting pushrods back in correctly in #6 cylinder

Search around the site. Plenty of reference, including my own experience. You’ll have to get the engine up off it’s mounts. A regular engine crane can do it.
 
Did one a few years back on a 2004. Take the Hood off for better clearance. You don't need to take the motor mount bolts completely out just back them off enough to clear the mount brackets on the frame. The frame is slotted engine will lift up and out once the bolts are loose enough. I found the scraper attachment on my Rockwell Oscillating sonic tool made short work cleaning up the gasket surface.
