Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Oil pan

Looked under the truck and found out I hit something. The bottom just aft and to the left of the oil drain plug is pushed up about an inch or so. Still have good oil pressure. Has anyone straighten theirs without pulling the pan? How high off the pan is the oil pickup ?

The sump is the end of the tube, a perforated piece of tubing, not a flat disk like you are used to on gassers. It lies across the front end of the sump. I wouldn't try to do anything with the pan installed. It would be too easy to introduce a leak or damage the intake pipe. Removal of the pan is quite a job, so you should probably leave well enough alone.
