Gifford, If you only have 75k on your TD, you are still under warranty. Dodge is replacing my oil pan tomorrow! I hate oil leaks.

Finally got my oil leak resolved. I take my dodge to Ford for routine oil changes because it is so convenient for me. (2 blocks from where I work). They have been working with me on this problem for a couple of months. They accepted responsibility. They finally decided it was time for an oil pan change. I was keeping them posted on discussions I was having on TDR. Anyway, they called the Dodge dealer here in Walla Walla, Wa. who indicated they wanted nothing to do with it and that it wasn't covered by warranty. They then contacted the Dodge dealer in Pendelton, Oregon (40 miles away) who said they do these all the time, it's a common problem and would take care of it under warranty. Next day, Ford drove my Dodge to Pendelton and had the oil pan replaced. Didn't cost me a dime. Problem was the threads were stripped. Wasn't the seal as we thought. Anyway, I'm a happy camper. Local Ford dealer treated me great and Dodge in Pendelton were real standup guys. Don't ask me what I think of the Dodge dealer here in Walla Walla.
