Oil pressure gauge help

Hey guys,



I purchased an Auto-lite oil pressure gauge and I need to know where to plug the oil pressure sender into for an accurate reading. I have an 2000 cummins auto.

I'd think the easiest spot would be on top of the oil filter plate where the oil line for the turbo comes out. This is direct pressure from the pump before it's in the filter, my 2002 has an extra port beside the turbo line, i used it for a bypass system. It's 1/8 NPT thread.
