Many have said that they had replaced the sender and that fixed the problem... .
Just the opposite of what the tsb says.
If you don't want to fool with having DC reflash your ram, you might want to try this.
Also I might mention that just above the lowest mark OR Just below the upper mark is NOT normal oil pressure. This Actually indicates an out of range pressure! I wish I had my manual here, but below 6psi or so the guage reads 0, between this and the normal range the guage reads just above the lowest mark. From there the reading is the actual pressure until it gets above a certain value, then it reads just below the upper mark... .
SO, if you are getting a reading just below the top mark, you are not reading a normal pressure!@!
Also if the computer loses the sender signal, the display remains at the last location until the computer gets a different signal from the sender!
They sure like to make troubleshooting hard for us!
