Hi Folks,
I'm a new kid on the diesel block. I've messed with the chemical powered units for years. My first experiance with my New 2001 2500 Quad-Cab was "No Oil Pressure". After waiting 6 hours for a tow and a 4 day stay at the dealers, the sending unit was replaced. Enough said. Not trusting the electrial way of checking Oil Pressure I purchased a mechanical gauge. The big question ??? Is there a convient place to plumb in the gague. I have read the horror stories posted about Oil Pressure Problems but I couldnt find a port for a mechanical gauge. I dont want to disturb the sending unit. Any help would be appreciated... ...
Thanks George
